| We publish recent sales information in two different formats: 1) In every bimonthly 28-page issue of the Vermont Property Owners Report newsletter, we publish 10 or 11 pages of sample sales from across the state. 2) Also bimonthly, we publish a set of Vermont Real Estate Sales Updates, a separate publication which has all recent sale prices – not just sample sales – in each region of the state. | Vermont Property Owners Report | ||||
| Vermont Property Owners Report (VPOR) is a newsletter about Vermont and Vermont real estate. Since we began publishing in 1986, we have included in each issue a Real Estate Sales section which shows a sample selection of recent sales of Vermont real estate in various towns. The towns selected vary with each issue. We try to provide a variety of types of property sales in each issue: primary homes, vacation homes, open land, timberland, farms, plus a very limited number of commercial property sales. With each sale, we provide a short description of the property and its location, the sales price, the date of the sale, the use of the property before and after the sale, and the last names and states of residence of the sellers and buyers of the property. | Vermont Real Estate Sales Update | ||||
| Due to requests from VPOR subscribers, in 1999 we began offering a supplemental publication – Vermont Real Estate Sales Update – which shows all real estate sales in various regions of the state, as reported on state property transfer tax returns. These Updates are available in 14 different editions, covering all sales in each Vermont county, as well as special editions listing recent sale prices in southern Vermont ski towns or northern Vermont ski towns. Most Update subscribers purchase between one and three regional editions, although it is possible to purchase all sales statewide. For subscribers to Vermont Property Owners Report, the price for these bimonthly Updates is $31 per region per year; non-subscribers pay $46 per region per year. VPOR subscribers may get a statewide edition with all sales in the state for $360 per year. (Please add 6% sales tax if the Updates will be mailed to a Vermont address.) Back issues of the bimonthly regional Updates are available at $5 each for VPOR subscribers, $7.50 for others. (Please add 6% sales tax if the Updates will be mailed to a Vermont address.) These back issues are often of interest to potential buyers of Vermont real estate, who may want to see all sales in a particular region over the past year or more. We can also prepare custom historical reports on particular types of property, such as land, for a negotiated fee. (We have data back to 1999.)
